Williams F1 in 1980 Alan Jones

Great Footage of the 1980 Monaco Grand Prix

Thing's Were Very Different Back Then

(The video finishes at about 4 minutes)

Here is a video of Williams enjoying their Glory days back in 1980. Williams started off the decade by winning the drivers title in 1980 with Alan Jones as well as the constructors title with a Ford powered car.

The footage in the video is all taken from 1980, it's interesting to see the difference in safety standards, with the crowds in the pits. It's great to see Frank Williams in his hey day.

In 1981 Williams won the constructors title again with Jones and Argentinan Carlos Ruetmann winning 4 races between them, but Nelson Piquet won the drivers title with Brabham.

By 1982 Jones had retired and Keke Rosberg had taken over and despite not having scored a single point in the previous season he went on to win the drivers title, with only 1 win.
